A natural life cycle

The emails die down. The messages become few and far between. Life goes on for people. They forget.

But then coach reminds me:

    Remember, there's "friends," "good friends," and "best friends." They all have their place in your life. You have to be able to differentiate between them and adjust your expectations of them accordingly. But all of them, even your closest friends - even your best friend - will let you down sometimes.

    You will ALWAYS matter to me.
